Funded projects that get finished.

Since 2001 the studio has worked for municipalities, health authorities, regional bodies and consortia, from the Valley of the Temples to the Pelagie islands. Depending on the commission it has been responsible for design, works supervision, cost accounting, health and safety coordination and final inspection, including Recovery Plan projects with strict deadlines.

I know public procurement law from inside the construction site: variations, contractor claims and dealings with project managers and heritage authorities are my everyday work. Here the works are grouped by field, without distinction of role.

How I work

  1. Feasibility and funding

    Technical and economic feasibility design built around the funding call’s requirements and timetable.

  2. Detailed design

    Complete drawings, bills of quantities and specifications ready for tender, with opinions and permits already secured.

  3. Construction

    Works supervision, cost accounting, safety and relations with the contractor and supervisory bodies.

  4. Closing

    Certificate of completion or final inspection, reporting and closing documents.

Frequently asked questions

Can you take over a commission already under way?

Yes. Stalled designs and struggling sites are a frequent starting point: first an honest assessment of where things stand, then a realistic schedule.

How do you handle Recovery Plan deadlines?

With a calendar shared with the project manager from day one, opinions requested in parallel and accounts updated week by week. Deadlines are met when they are not discovered at the last minute.

Do you also work with engineering firms?

For the most complex works the studio operates with Rebuilding S.r.l., an engineering firm managed by Arch. Spitali, integrating structures and building services.
